About Us

Texans for many years, Clay & Shay Patterson now live in Dandridge, Tennessee and are active in the Jefferson County Genealogical Society and the Jefferson County Historical Society as well as the Dandridge Main Street program.  They are among the founders of the Dandridge Scots-Irish Festival that began in 2007.  Clay has been a genealogist since 1975 and received his diploma as a Certified Genealogist in 2006.  While Shay is not quite as active in research, she has an uncanny nack for finding gravestones and marriage documents.
