Genealogy of Thomas Hall and his descendants

Home

The reason this page is called the "Thomas Hall" page is because we're not absolutely sure who his father is.  The most likely prospect is Silas Hall and Elizabeth Moyers who married at Dandridge Crossing, TN (now White Pine, TN).  Of the various Hall men who are reported on the 1830 U.S. Census:  Silas, Moses, Squire, and others, Silas is the only one who had one boys and two girls the right ages to be Thomas, his sisters Falby & Nancy.

We've recently come across a death certificate for Pleasant Hall that indicates he is the son of Moses Hall of Jefferson County.

With this brief introduction, we'll move on to Genealogy Reports and other information.  Note that all of Silas & Elizabeth's children are noted, based on the 1830 Census, although only four of them have been identified.

Take a look at a few photos of the Hall family.  Several more photos will be added in the near future.

.    Cousin Karen has submitted a Genealogy Register Report for Silas Hall, Sr. (Jr.?), apparent son of Silas Hall & Elizabeth Moyers.  We'll try to document the inclusion of this family into the overall family report and integrate it at another time.  In the meantime, much gratitude goes to Karen for her work and the opportunity to try to add to the Hall family story.
